You Say Toma(h)to is a monthly podcast hosted by yours truly and my partner Jeremy. As Eddie Izzard once observed, Britain and America are two countries separated by the Atlantic Ocean. That separation has meant that while we may speak a common language and share a similar history and culture, we are also quite different.

In each episode of You Say Toma(h)to, we explore these similarities and differences in (hopefully) highly amusing and entertaining ways. Jeremy and I discuss unusual customs, sports, and holidays but also more run of the mill sort of subjects like tea drinking and traffic lights. During our Word of the Month segment we investigate odd words, pronunciations, or phrases which might trip up unsuspecting Americans or Brits. Finally, each episode will feature a short interview with an interesting person about their experiences travelling, living abroad, or what daily life is like where they are from.
