You Say Toma(h)to is a monthly podcast hosted by yours truly and my partner Jeremy. As Eddie Izzard once observed, Britain and America are two countries separated by the Atlantic Ocean. That separation has meant that while we may speak a common language and share a similar history and culture, we are also quite different.

In each episode of You Say Toma(h)to, we will explore these similarities and differences in (hopefully) highly amusing and entertaining ways. During our Word of the Month segment we will investigate odd words, pronunciations, or phrases which might trip up unsuspecting Americans or Brits. In our Cultural Corner we will discuss unusual customs and holidays but also more run of the mill sort of subjects like tea drinking or traffic lights. Finally, each episode will feature a short interview with an interesting person about their experiences travelling, living abroad, or what daily life is like where they are from.
