Wow! We’ve done nine episodes of You Say Toma(h)to! Thank you so much for joining us. This month Jeremy and I discuss languages and more specifically what our experiences have been learning languages and travelling to countries where we don’t really speak the lingo.
This episode features a very inspiring interview with my friend Annabell. She discusses her initial reluctance to travel outside her native Germany and how a trip to Panama and a stay in a hostel eventually changed her mind. She also tells us about her experiences completing the Camino de Santiago in Spain, living abroad, and the challenges of interpreting sometimes perplexing British behaviour.
Our etymological challenge this month is a real goer. It’s sure to get your engines revving.
This month’s theme music is Joy in the Restaurant by David Szesztay.
